Galley Friends Christine Rosen and Naomi Shaefer Riley have a new collection of essays out, Acculturated. It’s got some very smart writers in it, like Caitlin Flanagan and Kay Hymowitz and Bill McClay. On the ever-so-slightly more middlebrow side, I’ve got an essay in there, too. About videogames.
Amazingly enough, I fail to work in either comic books, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, or wrestling.
That said, that said, the rest of the book is smart and very pleasurable reading.

Should you continue to refer to people as “Galley Friends” now that this is no longer Galley Slaves?
