For whatever it’s worth, my Final Four is Christian Laettner, Danny Ainge, Marcus Camby, and Tyler Hansbrough.

With Laettner over Hansbrough in the finals.

Anyone who doesn’t have Laettner as the eventual champ has a dark, dark soul.

    Definitely Laettner.

    Danny Ainge is the most hated college player of all time AFTER HE WENT PRO. Laettner is, “Laettner who?” in the NBA.

    Since I thought this should be based on on-court hate, the Camby bracket was really weak, but he was really the only choice. Who the heck hates Mateen Cleaves, other than maybe a few insane Michigan fans?

    They should have just called this the Laettner Award and excluded him from the Duke bracket. I think he’s a 1:1,000 favorite in Vegas. In that event, I’d have to go with Wojo even with the wealth of choices. He still needs to pick up his jock every time he thinks of Wayne Turner. Defensive player of the year, indeed.

    It’s fascinating how many white players are hated by white fans for being white. It’s like the reverse Jeremy Lin Effect: Chinese people love Jeremy Lin for being Chinese.
