France Fights Uber

With every passing day, France looks like a better, freer, more rational alternative to the United States.

I cannot believe I just typed that sentence.

    I’m skeptical about some of these “technological innovations”. They don’t seek terribly difficult to copy (why can’t local taxi services just pay a user fee to some other app provider to do the same thing?) Also, a lot of these services are just products using low cost immigrant surplus labor, which is becoming obsolete.

    Unless you’re Jewish. This is still the safest country in the world for us except, perhaps, Israel.
