Darren Rovell as the Honky Tonk Man
February 12th, 2013

It’s weirdly convincing. Even though, to the extent I’d ever thought about Rovell, he struck me as basically harmless.

Remember, Honky Tonk only caught heat when he turned heel.

There is a long article at NYT’s Economix about What to Expect, although I didn’t really understand it.
I don’t know if I agree with Mr. Last or not (gotta read the whole book before I decide), but I prefer him to the misanthropes (message: people need to stop having any kids, and also die younger) who comment at the NYT.

Didn’t read that, but there’s an interesting discussion of US-Iran relation by Ken Patera here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhx-F50hxLM

Still the only American to clean and press over 500 lbs. in Olympic competition.

    Mr. Last,

Please search to understand the root cause of the demographic decline. It is a phenomenon called “behavioral sink.” It was first described by John C. Calhoun in the 1970s in his “Mouse Utopia” experiments. But please please please do due diligence in understanding them. The record of the experiments is messy and there are varying reports and the publications leave much to be desired.

My personal goal is to repeat these experiments. Feel free to contact me.
