    Very interesting. The entire second half is great on showing the construction of value and the bit about Grey Goose is a particularly good example of a Veblen good.

    That was a great article, and of course Grey Goose from France’s finest faucets is pure Veblen but so’s designer coffee and the ipod/pad. Anyway I prefer the unreferenced Polish brand Belvedere cuz it reminds me of the late Christopher Hewett. BTW Bloomberg swooped in and tried to undercut you guys with their own summer vodka review/sarcastic tirade by John Mariani
