Though I bet he skimmed through part of an Atlantic article on the stuff once and follows @stephaniecoontz on Twitter. Which totally makes him expert enough to write about the subject.

I can’t take him or Vox seriously after their inequality explainer didnt mention single parent families as a cause. Those demographic changes are accepted as a leading cause with the debate over the size of it rather that is it a factor. Brookings and Urband have many new studies on how family breakdown affects inequality
But Vox doesn’t mention. Vox really is a Pravda organization that simply pretends evidence agaist their position didn’t exist.
