Police SWAT team breaks down door, at 6:00 a.m., handcuffs man in front of his three small children, and stuff the family into the back of a patrol car for six hours. Why?

Because they were executing a search warrant for the man’s estranged wife. (She was nowhere to be found.) On what grounds? Because the estrange wife defaulted on her student loans. Seriously.

SWAT teams are out of control. In AZ they raided the home of an Iraq War vet (USMC, 2 tours) and gunned him down with 60 bullets. They were looking for pot, they found none. He was holding an AR-15 at the time, which he bought because his sister and nephews were gunned down in their home a year prior. This guy was gunned down in front of his wife and kids. But hey, police were heroic on 9-11, so let’s give them unlimited powers and weapons to invade homes.

Can you even imagine all of us stuck in the back of a cruiser for six hours? Clearly, we would not all survive it.
