    Rod Dreher’s example is not a model anyone will follow. It’s too personal (and wrongheaded) to guide anyone else.

    The psychedelic dream she mentions is intriguing — as you know, Tim Leary’s early projects were directed by the Harvard Divinity School (see also the Stacy Keach scene in Oliver Stone’s otherwise-forgettable “W”). I’d like to hear the celebskeptic Dawkins address that, without mentioning ergotism at any rate, since he always did seem a bit fevered and hopped up on his personal “reality.”

    Boy, all these converted “Christians” certainly don’t reflect upon their daily cross they bear. Nope, it’s all fluffy butterflies and unicorns.

    I don’t think she is head for Rome. All of the Catholic priests I know are horrible homilists.

    So, now you can say, ‘I told you so.’ Not that I ever doubted. I am a bit surprised that it came this fast, but I hadn’t realized she’d been raised Episcopalian.
