Life in the Dreamhouse
May 11th, 2016

I’ve been busy at the conservative Dunkirk for the last few weeks but now that Trump is upon us and there’s nothing to be done, I’ll (hopefully) be freed up to do more normal writing.

In the meantime, I went on the Federalist Radio Hour this afternoon to talk about politics, Captain America vs. Iron Man, and Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse. I mean, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Sophia the first takes the cake as the worst — its like Roland never watched the White Queen to learn about why royals never marry commoners – nobles dont like morganatic weddings!!!!! (Jasmine’s father being a close second by condoning his daughters choice)
I literally grind my teeth listening to the kids watch those DVDs on roadtrips, then eventually it’s too much and I start ranting about how James would end up killing Amber because he’s youngest and it’s in her best interest to just drown him in wine now while he’s tiny & weak.

James and Amber are twins. Both are older than Sofia. Any conflict the two may have over the succession doesn’t have anything to do with Sofia or their father’s second marriage to a commoner and adoption of a stepdaughter. (Sofia is not part of the succession at all, at least not by real life rules, and would rank behind both James and Amber even if she was Roland’s daughter, which she is not.)
