This week the New Yorker carries a review in which the writer begins a paragraph with the following:

“On Twitter, a sitcom observer pointed out that . . .”

So the New Yorker now allows its critics to lean on paraphrases of anonymous Tweets.

Awesome.

    Worse, some of the entries in the cartoon-caption contest are funnier than what’s inside.
