As someone who thought that was one of the most amazing little essays I’ve read in a long while, I couldn’t disagree with you more. Defense contractors have plenty of foreign countries to sell to — besides it is an open question as to whether or not Turkey would stop buying weapons from us if we recognized the Armenian genocide. If will have the best stuff and are willing to sell then they have to swallow their pride and learn to live with the truth. Or not and we ship more weapons to good allies like Taiwan, Poland, India, etc.
