Despite the scary release date (September),  Moneyball looks pretty interesting.

    I like movies. I like books. I like baseball. But a movie about a book about baseball? Gross.

    gfaw is exactly correct: Plus I can’t see past BRAD PITT…sort of dovetailing with Last’s opinions re: Tom Cruise, i.e., say what you want about him, but the man sells almost every role he’s been in.

    The last time Pitt sold a role like that was 12 Monkeys, like 13 years ago.

    I know there is no excuse, but I haven’t read the book yet; therefore, I’m kind of looking forward to the movie as a nice shortcut.
