MINE ARRIVED!!! It is officially the first book ever ordered…and it’s on our porch!!!!!!! : )

You know, in the spirit of Larry Summers’s 1st Law of Economics (“No one has ever washed a rental car”) I think something could be devised along the lines of: Nobody’s ever bought a “political” book from AMZN based on the star rating. To evidence I cite their author pages for Charles Pierce; Corey Robin; Jonathan Chait; and some even worse-selling writers, who are nonetheless starry as all get-out.
But I understand & accept the mission. As a veteran of the great CompuServe flame wars of 1993 I won’t hardly be sitting this one out; even a few thoughtful “verified purchaser” reviews will balance out the hordes of MSNBC mouthbreathers, clicking every “unhelpful”/”doesn’t add to discussion” button their beady little eyes discern. We will bear any burden, we will pay any price. I will even pay CA sales tax.
