Move over Michael Lohan and make room for Jack Birch. Jack is the father of actress Thora Birch, who was just fired from the Broadway production of Dracula, only a few days before the show opened.
The official story is that Jack (who is his daughter’s manager) was attending rehearsals and threatened one of the other actors. The show’s producers claim that this is why Thora was let go–they couldn’t have a stage-father giving direction and pushing other actors around.
Now maybe the story about Jack bullying other actors is true, and maybe it isn’t. But Jack goes and tells the press that he did no such thing and that the real reason Thora was fired was because she wasn’t performing well.
So either Jack Birch got his daughter/client fired from a gig or he’s demolishing a face-saving explanation which was designed to protect his daughter/client and throwing her under the bus. Awesome.
Bonus: He used to do porn.

He used to do porn … with Thora Birch’s mom. The story is that they met on the set of Deep Throat. (I read it on What Would Tyler Durden Do, so you know it must be true.)
