Over at the Federalist I have a piece (a listicle?) explaining how awful the Jedi are. If you weren’t onboard the Imperial bandwagon before, you will be.
And at the risk of spoiling things, I’m at work on a blockbuster final piece of the pro-Empire tryptic. It won’t be ready until late December, but it’s going to blow your mind. Everything. Will. Change.

I am not much of a Star Wars fan or defender, but surely it is relevant that eight out of nine examples here are from the prequels. This has hardly anything to do with why people liked the original trilogy.

The loss of Grand Moff Tarkin on the first DS was in hindsight the critical blow against the Empire, similar to the effect of AS Johnston’s death at Shiloh on the overall Confederate war effort.
GMT would have run the Hoth invasion much differently, and certainly the Endor plan would have been much more effective.
