Lane goes with the crotch chop and everything.

I know Friedman’s a joke to everyone except Davos attendees, but this is avert-your-eyes embarrassing.

    Chuck Lane is one liberalisms few remaining adults. When he is on his game, he is a delight to read (and when you can actually agree with him, well, then all is good with the world).

    I meant to say “liberalism’s” — possessive.

    By the way — I took an online survey about WeeklyStandard.com which included the chance to potentially win an iPad. Of course I praised the magazine and website, but I lavished special praise on a certain writer — I suggested the website give him (and other great writers) their own blogs, so the website develops more of its own unique identity. Right now it is just sort of there.
